I know many people have negative thoughts towards Valentines day. I get it, but who doesn’t love all things pink, frilly, and pretty! And what a better holiday to celebrate the friendships in your life?
I put together a girly pink grazing table and invited some of the girls from work. Grazing tables are easy and fun. Yummy appetizer’s, cheese board, vegetable platter, and desserts are a crowd pleaser for any party.
A pink rug that I turned into a table runner set the stage for this “all things girly” night. If you haven’t noticed, tulips are one of my favorite flowers and I use them frequently. They are inexpensive and generally easy to find at your local grocery store. The vase was actually a candle holder that I removed the wax from. When planning your celebrations, pull out what dishes and serving ware you already have and add just a few finishing touches such as napkins and flowers and voilá, you have a party ready tablescape!
We ended the night with ice cream and chick flicks. A perfect Galentines in my book.
